BARISTA SKILLS MODULE - FOUNDATION

Barista Skills is for people focusing on the key skills required to set your grinder, make espresso and foam and texture milk for cappuccinos. This module allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the coffee itself and build on your practical skills for milk technique and latte art, not to mention health and safety, customer service and basic business.

Foundation is for people new to the coffee industry and focuses on the key skills required to set your grinder, make espresso and foam and texture milk for cappuccinos.  No previous barista experience is required for this course.

Introduction to Coffee and Barista Foundation are recommended (but not mandatory) pre-requisite modules. All knowledge and skill from these modules will be assumed as being held and may be tested through the practical and/or written assessments.

This is one of the Coffee Diploma System Foundation modules, 5 credits will be awarded after completion.

Course Length:  ~ 4 hours

** Extra practice time can be arranged at hourly charge base.
$200 for the first hour, with 4 cartons of milk and 1kg of roasted bean included.
Extra time: $100 per hour, fractions of 1 hour is charged as 1 hour, i.e. 1 hour 30 mins is charged as 2 hours.
Extra carton of milk: $20.
Extra 1kg of roasted bean: $200.
