BREWING MODULE - INTERMEDIATE

The study of Brewing introduces you to the different ways of brewing coffee, from Chemex and siphon to clever dripper and French press. In addition, this module allows you to get hands-on and learn to analyse your grind profile, match your grind to your brewing method and to scientifically measure coffee strength and chart a coffee’s extraction.

Intermediate is very much a hands-on workshop where you will learn to analyse your grind profile, match your grind to your brewing method and to scientifically measure coffee strength and chart a coffee’s extraction.

Designed to introduce the intermediate into the core skills and equipment required to produce great brewed coffee and understand how to chart different brew style. 

This is one of the Coffee Diploma System Intermediate modules, 10 credits will be awarded after completion.

Course Length:  ~ 16 hours

** Extra practice time can be arranged at hourly charge base.
$200 for the first hour, with 1kg of roasted bean included.
Extra time: $100 per hour, fractions of 1 hour is charged as 1 hour, i.e. 1 hour 30 mins is charged as 2 hours.
Extra 200kg of roasted bean: $50.
